The Killdeer Cowboys (Killdeer, ND) football edged the host Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND), 36-30 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Cowboys face the Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] Cougars (Belfield, ND) in a B Region 4 bout, on Friday, October 13. Killdeer will attempt to move on its 6-2 season record.
The Miners (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Shiloh Christian (Bismarck, ND). The Skyhawks enter the B Region 4 bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Shiloh Christian nudged Hazen (Hazen, ND), 62-14, in a league bout.
