In Friday's non-league match, the host Wolsey-Wessington Warbirds football squad scored a big 48-12 victory over the Britton-Hecla Braves.

In their next game, the Warbirds clash with the Avon Pirates (Avon, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 13. Wolsey-Wessington will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 5-2 record after their 48-26 league loss to Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD).

The Braves (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Herreid/Selby (Herreid, SD). The Wolverines enter the non-league match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Herreid/Selby routed Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 36-30, in a non-league match.
