Texas High School Football - Denver City trounces Brownfield

In Friday's league match, the visiting Denver City Mustangs football squad scored a big 59-24 victory over the Brownfield Cubs.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX) in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 match, on Friday, October 13. Denver City will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 0-6 record after their 15-8 non-league loss to Friona (Friona, TX).
