The Conway Wampus Cats football squad scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Cabot Panthers to 14 in the Wampus Cats league victory on Friday.

The Wampus Cats now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a 7A Central battle on Friday, October 13. Conway will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 55-41 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-5.

Coming up next, the Panthers play the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) in a 7A Central battle, on Friday, October 13. Cabot will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 45-6 league loss to Bryant (Bryant, AR).
