In Friday's league match, the host Calallen Wildcats football squad scored a big 63-0 victory over the La Feria Lions.
In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Alice Coyotes (Alice, TX) in a 4A-1 Region IV District 16 match, on Friday, October 13. Calallen will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Coyotes enter the match with a 4-1 record after their 40-14 league win over Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX).
