The Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles football team (Fairless Hills, PA), was tipped 14-13 in Friday's league challenge with the host Cardinal O'Hara Lions (Springfield, PA)
The Lions (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Archbishop Carroll (Radnor, PA). The Patriots come into the Philadelphia Catholic - Blue challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Archbishop Carroll nipped West Catholic (Philadelphia, PA), 29-24, in a league challenge.
The Eagles now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Neumann-Goretti for a Philadelphia Catholic - Blue challenge on Friday, October 13. Conwell-Egan Catholic will meet a Saints team coming off a 6-0 league win over Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Saints record now stands at 5-1.
