The Central Falcons football team (Tuscaloosa, AL), was ripped 49-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL)

The Patriots (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Bessemer City (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers come into the 6A Region 4 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Bessemer City trounced Brookwood (Brookwood, AL), 34-8, in a league challenge.

The Falcons now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northridge for a 6A Region 4 challenge on Friday, October 13. Central will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 35-17 league loss to McAdory (McCalla, AL). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-5.
