Indiana High School Football - Charlestown defeats Salem

October 6, 2023: Charlestown, IN 47111

In Friday's league match, the host Charlestown Pirates football squad scored a good 46-22 victory over the Salem Lions.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN) in a Mid-Southern bout, on Friday, October 13. Charlestown will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Musketeers enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 19-0 league loss to Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN).

The Lions (1-7) will now prepare for their bout against West Washington (Campbellsburg, IN). The Senators enter the non-league bout with a 5-3 record. In their last bout, West Washington defeated Crawford County (Marengo, IN), 62-6, in a league bout.
