The Verdugo Hills Dons football team (Tujunga, CA), was ripped 44-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA)
The Eagles (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Arleta (Arleta, CA). The Mustangs come into the East Valley challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Arleta trounced Grant (Van Nuys, CA), 49-21, in a league challenge.
The Dons now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host North Hollywood for a East Valley challenge on Friday, October 13. Verdugo Hills will meet a Huskies team coming off a 20-14 league loss to Monroe (North Hills, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.
