In Friday's league match, the visiting South Point Pointers football squad scored a good 38-20 victory over the Chesapeake Panthers.
In their next game, the Pointers clash with the Portsmouth Trojans (Portsmouth, OH) in a Ohio Valley match, on Friday, October 13. South Point will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 4-4 record after their 43-27 league loss to Fairland (Proctorville, OH).
The Panthers (3-5) will now prepare for their match against Rock Hill (Ironton, OH). The Redmen enter the Ohio Valley match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Rock Hill dropped by Gallia Academy (Gallipolis, OH), 44-7, in a league match.
