The Claiborne Academy Rebels football team (Haynesville, LA), was ripped 44-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Prairie View Academy Spartans (Bastrop, LA)
The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Hillcrest Christian (Jackson, MS). The Cougars come into the MAIS 8-Man 2A District 3 (8 Man) challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Hillcrest Christian was ripped by Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS), 58-16, in a league challenge.
The Rebels now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Sharkey Issaquena Academy for a MAIS 8-Man 1A District 2 (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 13. Claiborne Academy will meet a Confederates team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Porter's Chapel Academy (Vicksburg, MS). The Confederates record now stands at 7-1.
