The Coolidge Yellowjackets football squad scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Gholson to 6 in the Yellowjackets league victory on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now possess a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aquilla for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 12 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 13. Coolidge will play a Cougars squad coming off a 52-6 league loss to Abbott (Abbott, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.

Coming up next, the play the Penelope Wolverines (Penelope, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region III District 12 (6 Man) battle, on Friday, October 13. Gholson will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 2-3 record after their 66-20 non-league win over Covington (Covington, TX).
