The Villa Novans (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Patriots come into the Division II-B challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Portsmouth trounced Shea (Pawtucket, RI), 21-0, in a league challenge.

The Thunderbolts now sport a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westerly for a Division II-B challenge on Friday, October 13. Cranston East will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 19-15 non-league win over Central (Providence, RI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-1.
