The Crossland Cavaliers football team (Temple Hills, MD), was ripped 40-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD)
The Lions (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Friendly (Fort Washington, MD). The Patriots come into the Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Friendly was ripped by Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD), 39-6, in a league challenge.
The Cavaliers now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Douglass for a Prince George's County 2A/1A challenge on Saturday, October 14. Crossland will meet a Eagles team coming off a 14-13 league win over Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
