The Wetumka Chieftains football squad scored 57 points and limited the host Depew Hornets to 6 in the Chieftains league win on Friday.

The Chieftains now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Snyder for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 12. Wetumka will play a Cyclones squad coming off a 52-6 non-league loss to Hollis (Hollis, OK). The Cyclones record now stands at 0-5.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the Weleetka Outlaws (Weleetka, OK) in a B District 8 (8 Man) battle, on Thursday, October 12. Depew will attempt to advance on its 2-4 season record.
