In Friday's league game, the Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) football team tipped the host Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), by a final score of 14-13.
The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Crossland (Temple Hills, MD). The Cavaliers come into the Prince George's County 2A/1A game with a 3-4 record. In their last game, Crossland was tipped by Largo (Upper Marlboro, MD), 40-0, in a league game.
The Wolverines now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Springs for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Potomac will battle a Springers team coming off a 42-6 league win over Henrico (Richmond, VA). The Springers record now stands at 5-1.
