North Carolina High School Football - Madison routed by Draughn

The Madison Patriots football team (Marshall, NC), was ripped 57-7 in Friday's league challenge with the host Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC)

The Wildcats (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Rosman (Rosman, NC). The Tigers come into the Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Rosman smashed Owen (Black Mountain, NC), 48-21, in a league outing.

With the loss, Madison moves to 1-6 on the season. The Patriots host Avery County (Newland, NC) to encounter the Vikings in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 13. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-4. Avery County lost 45-7 in their recent league outing against Mountain Heritage (Burnsville, NC)
