In Friday's league match, the host Northwest Webster Cougars football squad scored a good 8-0 victory over the East Sac County Raiders.
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a 1A District 2 match, on Friday, October 13. Northwest Webster will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record.
The Raiders (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Sioux Central (Sioux Rapids, IA). The Rebels enter the non-league match with a 3-4 record. In their last match, Sioux Central dropped by Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA), 12-6, in a league match.
