    In Friday's league game, the Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) football team tipped the visiting Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), by a final score of 32-30.

    The Rams (6-2) will now prepare for their game against Hardin Northern (Dola, OH). The Polar Bears come into the Northwest Central game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Hardin Northern got by Crestline (Crestline, OH), 64-0, in a league game.

    The Comets now hold a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they host Perry for a Northwest Central game on Friday, October 13. Elgin will battle a Commodores team coming off a 50-7 league loss to Waynesfield-Goshen (Waynesfield, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 3-5.
