The Mt. Pleasant Vikings football team (Mt. Pleasant, PA), was beaten 39-25 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Elizabeth Forward Warriors (Elizabeth, PA)
The Warriors (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA). The Gladiators come into the WPIAL AAA Interstate challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, South Allegheny was beaten by Southmoreland (Alverton, PA), 42-20, in a league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Belle Vernon for a WPIAL AAA Interstate challenge on Friday, October 13. Mt. Pleasant will meet a Leopards team coming off a 53-7 league win over Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA). The Leopards record now stands at 5-1.
