In Friday's league game, the Excel Panthers (Excel, AL) football team smashed the host Monroe County Tigers (Monroeville, AL), by a score of 46-0.

The Panthers (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Thomasville (Thomasville, AL). The Tigers come into the 3A Region 1 game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Thomasville overwhelmed Flomaton (Flomaton, AL), 21-7, in a league game.
