The Frederick Cadets football team (Frederick, MD), was beaten 49-35 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Linganore Lancers (Frederick, MD)
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, MD). The Knights come into the Central Maryland challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Middletown achieved victory over Catoctin (Thurmont, MD), 37-0, in a league challenge.
The Cadets now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Urbana for a Central Maryland challenge on Friday, October 13. Frederick will meet a Hawks team coming off a 50-6 league win over Tuscarora (Frederick, MD). The Hawks record now stands at 4-2.
