The Fruitdale Pirates football team (Fruitdale, AL), was ripped 34-0 in Friday's league challenge with the host McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL)
The Demons (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Choctaw County (Butler, AL). The Tigers come into the 1A Region 1 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Choctaw County trounced Southern Choctaw (Gilbertown, AL), 14-12, in a league challenge.
The Pirates now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they host Chickasaw for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Fruitdale will meet a Chieftains team coming off a 40-0 league loss to Clarke County (Grove Hill, AL). The Chieftains record now stands at 3-4.
