Kansas High School Football - Girard drops to Iola

In Friday's non-league game, the Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS) football team knocked off the host Girard Trojans (Girard, KS), by a final score of 29-15.

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Prairie View (La Cygne, KS). The Buffalos come into the Pioneer game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Prairie View was dropped by Wellsville (Wellsville, KS), 36-29, in a non-league game.

The Trojans now hold a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Girard will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 31-7 league loss to Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-5.
