In Friday's league match, the host Grapevine Mustangs football squad scored a big 49-0 victory over the Polytechnic Parrots.
In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 4 match, on Thursday, October 12. Grapevine will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 48-7 league loss to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX).
The Parrots (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Chaparrals enter the 5A-2 Region I District 4 match with a 5-1 record. In their last match, Wyatt routed North Side (Fort Worth, TX), 19-7, in a league match.
