New Jersey High School Football - Morris Catholic felled by Hanover Park

The Morris Catholic Crusaders football team (Denville, NJ), was knocked off 30-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ)

The Hornets (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pequannock (Pompton Plains, NJ). The Golden Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Pequannock knocked off Kinnelon (Kinnelon, NJ), 28-21, in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now sport a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Immaculata for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Morris Catholic will meet a Spartans team coming off a 45-6 non-league loss to Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
