In Friday's league game, the Sargent County Bulldogs (Milnor, ND) football team smashed the visiting Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND), by a score of 56-14.

The Bulldogs (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Maple Valley/Hope-Page (Tower City, ND). The come into the 9-Man Region 1 (9 Man) game with a 4-3 record. In their last game, Maple Valley/Hope-Page was ripped by LaMoure/Litchville-Marion (LaMoure, ND), 46-19, in a league game.

The Thunder now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Hatton/Northwood will meet a Tigers team coming off a 35-21 non-league win over North Central (Eureka, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
