Pennsylvania High School Football - Hempfield topped by Wilson

The Hempfield Black Knights football team (Landisville, PA), was beaten 49-34 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Wilson Bulldogs (West Lawn, PA)

The Bulldogs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Penn Manor (Millersville, PA). The Comets come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Penn Manor achieved victory over Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA), 14-10, in a non-league challenge.

The Black Knights now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Exeter Township for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Hempfield will meet a Eagles team coming off a 42-0 league win over Muhlenberg (Laureldale, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 7-0.
