North Carolina High School Football - Hoke County can't get by Southern Lee

October 6, 2023: Sanford, NC 27332

The Southern Lee Cavaliers held off the visiting Hoke County Bucks football team by a count of 21-14 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Southern Lee upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 3A/4A Sandhills outing on Friday, October 20. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 2-5.

With the loss, Hoke County moves to 2-6 on the season. The Bucks host Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to confront the Vikings in a 3A/4A Sandhills outing on Friday, October 13. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Union Pines lost 26-0 in their recent league outing against Richmond (Rockingham, NC)
