The Homer Pelicans (Homer, LA) football routed the host Plain Dealing Lions (Plain Dealing, LA), 60-0 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Pelicans clash with the Prescott Curley Wolves (Prescott, AR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 13. Homer will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Curley Wolves enter the bout with a 6-1 record after their 54-14 league win over Fouke (Fouke, AR).
