The Hooper Academy Colts football squad scored 39 points and restricted the host Sparta Academy Warriors to 8 in the Colts non-league victory on Friday.
The Colts now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edgewood Academy for a AISA AA Region I battle on Friday, October 13. Hooper Academy will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 35-6 league win over Macon-East Montgomery Academy (Cecil, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-5.
Coming up next, the Warriors face the South Choctaw Academy Rebels (Toxey, AL) in a AISA A Region II battle, on Friday, October 13. Sparta Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record.
