The Jordan Valley Mustangs football squad scored 46 points and restricted the host Huntington Locomotives to 25 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Eagle for a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) battle on Tuesday, October 10. Jordan Valley will play a Spartans squad coming off a 65-6 league loss to Wallowa (Wallowa, OR). The Spartans record now stands at 1-4.

Next up, the Locomotives meet the Joseph Eagles (Joseph, OR) in a 1A Special District 1 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 13. Huntington will attempt to better on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 22-19 league win over Harper (Harper, OR).
