The Indianola Academy Colonels football team (Indianola, MS), was beaten 43-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting Washington Generals (Greenville, MS)
The Generals (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lee Academy (Clarksdale, MS). The Colts come into the MAIS 4A District 1 challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Lee Academy achieved victory over Rossville Christian Academy (Rossville, TN), 66-0, in a league challenge.
The Colonels now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they host Sylva Bay Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Indianola Academy will meet a Saints team coming off a 37-7 non-league loss to Wayne Academy (Waynesboro, MS). The Saints record now stands at 0-8.
