In Friday's non-league game, the King Charter Jaguar (New Orleans, LA) football team were victorious over the host Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA), by a score of 42-14.
The Jaguar (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Chalmette (Chalmette, LA). The Owls come into the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Chalmette knocked off East Jefferson (Metairie, LA), 48-10, in a league game.
The Trojans now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Istrouma for a 4A District 6 game on Thursday, October 12. Tara will battle a Indians team coming off a 32-15 league loss to McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA). The Indians record now stands at 3-3.
