Idaho High School Football - Lapwai felled by Prairie

The Lapwai Wildcats football team (Lapwai, ID), was knocked off 54-44 in Friday's league challenge with the host Prairie Pirates (Cottonwood, ID)

The Pirates (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID). The Rams come into the 1A I White Pine (8 Man) challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Clearwater Valley was knocked off by Potlatch (Potlatch, ID), 60-18, in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Potlatch for a 1A I White Pine (8 Man) challenge on Friday, October 13. Lapwai will meet a Loggers team coming off a 60-18 league win over Clearwater Valley (Kooskia, ID). The Loggers record now stands at 5-1.
