Alabama High School Football - West Point topped by Lawrence County

The West Point Warriors football team (Cullman, AL), was beaten 34-9 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL)

The Red Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against East Limestone (Athens, AL). The Indians come into the 5A Region 8 challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, East Limestone was beaten by West Limestone (Lester, AL), 20-7, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ardmore for a 5A Region 8 challenge on Friday, October 13. West Point will meet a Tigers team coming off a 35-2 league loss to Fairview (Cullman, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
