Mississippi High School Football - Leake Central drops to Northeast Lauderdale

In Friday's league game, the Northeast Lauderdale Trojans (Meridian, MS) football team knocked off the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), by a score of 43-14.
The Trojans (4-3) will now prepare for their game against West Lauderdale (Collinsville, MS). The Knights come into the 4A Region 4 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, West Lauderdale toppled Taylorsville (Taylorsville, MS), 35-24, in a non-league game.
The Gators now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Choctaw Central for a 4A Region 4 game on Friday, October 13. Leake Central will battle a Warriors team coming off a 26-19 league loss to Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
