The Lewiston Blue Devils football team (Lewiston, ME), was ripped 51-13 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME)
The Hornets (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Thornton Academy (Saco, ME). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Thornton Academy trounced South Portland (South Portland, ME), 14-0, in a league challenge.
The Blue Devils now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Mt. Blue for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 13. Lewiston will meet a Cougars team coming off a 21-12 league loss to Falmouth (Falmouth, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
