Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC), 23-13 in a league test.

With the triumph, Pinecrest improves its record to 7-0 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC) to battle the Fighting Scots in a 3A/4A Sandhills test on Friday, October 13. The Fighting Scots come into the test with a record of 7-0. Scotland won 45-0 in their recent league test against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)

With the loss, Lee County drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Richmond (Rockingham, NC) to battle the Raiders in a 3A/4A Sandhills test on Friday, October 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 3-5. Richmond won 26-0 in their recent league test against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
