The Golden Bears (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Springville (Springville, AL). The Tigers come into the 5A Region 6 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Springville was knocked off by Moody (Moody, AL), 28-17, in a league challenge.
The Lions now sport a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jacksonville for a 4A Region 4 challenge on Saturday, October 7. Munford will meet a Golden Eagles team coming off a 63-14 league win over Cleburne County (Heflin, AL). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 6-1.
