New Jersey High School Football - Mahwah held off by Ramsey

In Friday's league game, the Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, NJ) football team tipped the visiting Mahwah Thunderbirds (Mahwah, NJ), by a final score of 17-14.

The Rams (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Newton (Newton, NJ). The Braves come into the non-league game with a 4-1 record. In their last game, Newton got by Lenape Valley (Stanhope, NJ), 34-7, in a league game.

The Thunderbirds now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Paramus for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Mahwah will battle a Spartans team coming off a 42-0 league win over Bergenfield (Bergenfield, NJ). The Spartans record now stands at 5-2.
