The Owatonna Huskies football team (Owatonna, MN), was ripped 42-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN)

The Scarlets (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Mankato East trounced Chanhassen (Chanhassen, MN), 35-31, in a league challenge.

The Huskies now sport a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host John Marshall for a Northstar - South Maroon challenge on Friday, October 13. Owatonna will meet a Rockets team coming off a 40-33 league win over Century (Rochester, MN). The Rockets record now stands at 3-3.
