In Friday's league match, the visiting Metro Christian Patriots football squad scored a good 34-13 victory over the McLoud Redskins.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Kingfisher Yellowjackets (Kingfisher, OK) in a 3A District 1 match, on Friday, October 13. Metro Christian will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the match with a 2-4 record after their 38-0 league win over Mannford (Mannford, OK).
