The Mt. Shasta Bears football team (Mt. Shasta, CA), was ripped 41-6 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Williams Yellowjackets (Williams, CA)

The Yellowjackets (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Biggs (Biggs, CA). The Wolverines come into the Mid-Valley challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Biggs trounced Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 31-12, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 0-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Willows for a Mid-Valley challenge on Friday, October 13. Mt. Shasta will meet a Honkers team coming off a 60-8 league loss to Hamilton (Hamilton City, CA). The Honkers record now stands at 1-5.
