The Rosman Tigers topped the host Owen Warhorses football team by a final score of 48-21 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Rosman improves its record to 1-7 on the season. The Tigers travel to Draughn (Valdese, NC) to confront the Wildcats in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 13. The Wildcats go into the outing with a record of 7-1. Draughn won 57-7 in their recent league outing against Madison (Marshall, NC)

With the loss, Owen moves to 1-7 on the season. The Warhorses travel to Avery County (Newland, NC) to confront the Vikings in a Western Highlands 1A/2A outing on Friday, October 20. The Vikings go into the outing with a record of 3-4.
