The Plainfield East Bengals football team (Plainfield, IL), was tipped 13-10 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL)
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats come into the Southwest Prairie - East challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Plainfield Central nipped Joliet Central (Joliet, IL), 50-12, in a league challenge.
The Bengals now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Joliet West for a Southwest Prairie - East challenge on Friday, October 13. Plainfield East will meet a Tigers team coming off a 42-0 league win over Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-1.
