With the triumph, Wylie improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Rider (Wichita Falls, TX) to battle the Raiders in a 5A-2 Region I District 2 test on Friday, October 13. The Raiders come into the test with a record of 4-2. Rider won 42-21 in their recent league test against Cooper (Abilene, TX)
With the loss, Plainview drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Lubbock (Lubbock, TX) to battle the Westerners in a 5A-2 Region I District 2 test on Friday, October 13. The Westerners come into the test with a record of 2-4. Lubbock lost 58-24 in their recent league test against Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX)
