The Red Mesa Redskins football team (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), was beaten 28-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Tuba City Warriors (Tuba City, AZ)
The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley (Sanders, AZ). The Pirates come into the 2A Little Colorado challenge with a 0-7 record. In their last challenge, Valley was beaten by Pinon (Pinon, AZ), 46-0, in a league challenge.
The Redskins now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Holbrook for a 2A Little Colorado match on Friday, October 13. Red Mesa will clash with a Roadrunners squad coming off a 54-0 league win over Hopi (Keams Canyon, AZ). The Roadrunners record now stands at 4-3.
