The Wachusett Regional Mountaineers thwarted the visiting Salem Blue Devils football team by a count of 45-28 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Wachusett Regional upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Mountaineers host Leominster (Leominster, MA) to encounter the Blue Devils in a Midland Wachusett - A outing on Friday, October 13. The Blue Devils go into the outing with a record of 1-4. Leominster lost 27-14 in their recent non-league outing against Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA)
