Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Shadyside Tigers (Shadyside, OH), 48-18 in a league test.
With the triumph, Wheeling Central Catholic improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Maroon Knights travel to Martins Ferry (Martins Ferry, OH) to battle the Purple Riders in a Ohio Valley AAAA test on Friday, October 13. The Purple Riders come into the test with a record of 5-3. Martins Ferry lost 48-21 in their recent non-league test against Weir (Weirton, WV)
With the loss, Shadyside drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Bridgeport (Bridgeport, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Ohio Valley AA test on Friday, October 13. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 3-5. Bridgeport lost 35-0 in their recent league test against Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH)
